How to Clean Pasted Text
Copied text often brings hidden clutter: doubled spaces, empty lines, tabs, smart quotes, strange dashes, and inconsistent casing. This guide shows a simple cleanup workflow using Bizzon text tools.

Worked example: spacing around punctuation
Paste " Hello, world ! " without the outer quotation marks. Fix extra spaces produces "Hello, world!": it collapses runs of ordinary spaces or tabs, removes spaces before punctuation, and trims the start and end of each line. Copy the result only after checking that intentional spacing was not meaningful.
Choose one operation before combining them
Fix extra spaces preserves internal blank lines. Remove empty lines drops blank and whitespace-only lines, but does not collapse repeated spaces inside a sentence. Normalize smart quotes converts curly quotes and apostrophes to straight ones and converts en/em dashes to hyphens. Each button processes the original input; switching modes does not chain the previous output.
Worked example: preserving paragraph structure
For a two-paragraph email, first use Fix extra spaces so the empty line between paragraphs remains. Clean everything applies quote normalization, spacing cleanup, then empty-line removal; that paragraph separator disappears. Copy the output back into the input only if you deliberately want to apply a separate operation on top of the result.
Checklist before replacing the original
Keep an original copy. Check paragraph boundaries, indentation, punctuation, code snippets, and any table-like columns. Compare the output in the destination editor, then use Word Counter or Character Counter if a length target matters. A smaller character total confirms removal, not that the wording is correct.
Limitations: PDF and invisible characters
This cleaner works on plain text. It does not reconstruct a PDF layout, join lines wrapped by an export, remove a hyphen from a split word, or correct OCR spelling. Not every invisible Unicode character is removed by spacing cleanup. Avoid Clean everything for code, poetry, or aligned data where spaces, quotes, and blank lines carry meaning.
